{For anyone who has been exposed to Nichiren Buddhism, you may have an understanding of where I'm coming from. In the spirit of reconciliation, I've drafted this peace treaty and welcome all thoughts, suggestions and input from the IDP community}
NICHIREN PEACE TREATY (2010 WORKING DRAFT)
Respecting that every person has the right to free thought and conscience, including the freedom to choose a religion, denomination, belief or interpretation of choice;
Further respecting that every person has the right to manifest his or her religion, denomination, belief or interpretation, either individually or in community with others, in public or in private, in faith, study and practice;
Mindful that the freedom to manifest one’s religious beliefs are subject only to limitations prescribed by law and those which are necessary to protect the public safety, health, or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others; and
Holding the perspective that discord and hostility by and between Nichiren Buddhists is contrary to the Buddhist spirit of tolerance.
We, the undersigned practitioners of Nichiren Buddhism, hereby affirm:
Mutual respect, non-judgment and good will between all schools, sects, organizations and practitioners of Nichiren Buddhism, by and between one another and with all other Buddhist traditions.

Correcting Others
The Buddha spent his entire life correcting wrong thought and likewise Nichiren. Why should we as their disciples do anything less?
Interesting
This isn't anything new for my particular school; we don't consider ourselves at odds with other Nichiren schools. That said, I have no problem whatsoever with your affirmation. Where can one actually sign?
Namaste, Engyo
