Recently, my boyfriend of only two months told me that he will not be able to marry a non-Jewish girl. While I was not thinking of marriage -- I am hesitant to continue a relationship with an expiration date.
I am not willing to convert, and I feel the tradition is outdated and confining. I feel that no matter how good of a person I am- it does not matter because I am not jewish.
What would buddha say?

Tell the guy you were Jewish in a previous life, and if you hadn't died, you would still be Jewish.
