Break out your thinking caps and twitter fingers...
This Week, IDP Teachers Kim Brown & Lawrence Grecco will host a talk and discussion around the question “What is Community?” (Both live in NYC & Videocast online)
“What does it mean to be a part of a community in a culture that places a high value on the idea of “independence”? Do we really need to be part of a group?”
Everyone in the extended IDP community is invited to share your answer to the question “What is Community?” via Twitter, or in the comments below by 7:00pm this Wednesday. Kim & Lawrence will pick their favorite answer, and the winner has the option of selecting an IDP Tote Bag or Tee Shirt as a prize.
FOR TWITTER: Tweet @idproject with tag #community
This question strikes right at the heart of IDP’s mission. What does it mean to be both an individual and a collective voice in our society -- and to do so with mindfulness and compassion? How do we balance our appreciation and gratitude of our community with our skepticism?
Please join us on Wednesday night. I’ll be fielding questions and comments from the videocast to incorporate into the discussion.

Why should an artist join on-line art competition?
Such an interesting post to read. I am just wondering why artist must join on-line art competition.
I can throw in some very stale peeps
and peep-sized meditation cushions for a prize!
Nancy
