"Love can go anywhere. Nothing can obstruct it...No external condition can prevent love; no one and no thing can stop it." - Sharon Salzberg

Metta is the word for friendship or lovingkindness in Pali, the language of the original Buddhist teachings. It is taught as a meditation that cultivates our natural capacity for an open and loving heart. Metta is traditionally offered along with meditations that enrich compassion, joy in the happiness of others, and equanimity. These practices lead to the development of concentration, fearlessness, and genuine happiness.

Join Lodro Rinzler and Patrick Groneman for four weeks of practice, teaching and discussions that will explore how we can cultivate lovingkindness in our relationships with ourselves and others.
