The Munay-Ki Rites

The Munay-ki rites are ancient energetic transmissions of the Inca which have only recently been transmitted outside Peru, and which may serve as a helpful adjunct to our spiritual paths. It is said that these rites help you raise your level of vibration in the world, and can help in cultivating both intuition and creativity.

The first, second, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh rites will be offered for those who have received the previous ones. Drop-Ins and first timers welcome to attend.

There will be a short talk and meditation practice, and an introduction and discussion of Munay-ki rites.

If you are new to the material, it is recommended that you listen to Robert's talk Buddhism and Shamanism : Working with Energy before coming to this class.  Robert is also available to be reached via e-mail with any questions at robert@theidproject.org

Prerequisite: established mindfulness meditation practice or consent of the teacher.

Robert Chender has been a practitioner and teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition for many years, and is also a student and practitioner of certain shamanic traditions, including the Munay-ki initiations of the Inca. He is a member of the Board of Directors of IDP.

The workshops will run from 7pm until about 9pm. Those who have taken part in previous sessions may arrive at 7:20 pm and skip the introductory talk if need be.
