The Interdependence Project and the Hole are pleased to invite you to a meditation session that will utilize Holton Rower's mesmerizing pour paintings for perceptual exercises that explore the relationship between consciousness and the six senses.
No previous meditation experience required.
About the Teacher
Sokuzan Bob Brown has been engaged with art for over 50 years through his experience as an illustrator in the Marine Corps and his attendance at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC. Bob is ordained a Zen priest in the Soto Zen lineage and was a student of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Kobun Chino Roshi and is currently a student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje. About the Artist
Holton Rower was born in Greenwich Village in 1962, attended the Putney School, lives in Brooklyn and makes his studio in Lower Manhattan
