Why do we meditate? Why don't we meditate? How does it aid mental health and wellbeing? What are some of the common misconceptions of meditation? What does it really mean to practice meditation and study Buddhism?
Patrick Groneman will guide us through mindfulness meditation and an exploration of the benefits of practice, as well as confusion surrounding it.
This class is a great opportunity to bring a friend of yours who is new to IDP, or for you yourself to come to IDP for the first time. If you come with a friend who has been here before, the class is FREE for the IDP first-timer!
Patrick Groneman is currently the Executive Director of the Interdependence Project and a graduate of IDP's Teacher Training program. He studied painting and video art at the Maryland Institute College of Art, is co-founder of the multi-media artist collective Wunderkrafthaus and is currently involved in developing a short dance film.
