Looking to de-stress? Want to learn more self discipline? Interested in how your mind works?
Many people look to meditation as a means of working with the challenges of living in our hyper-paced, 21st century world. Recent scientific research suggests that meditation practice is an effective means to lessening stress and depression, boosting bodily immune and respiratory functions, increasing happiness, and cultivating compassion and joy within one's life.
Every Sunday, The Interdependence Project offers an Introduction to Meditation Class from 3pm-4:15pm.
The class will include:
• A Guided Meditation
• Introduction to the basics of Mindfulness Meditation,
• Resources and Suggestions to help you Set Up your own Meditation Practice at Home
• Q and A with the Teacher
This class is offered on a donation basis. We ask each participant to pay between $5 - $10 to help us continue offering the course to others. No one will be turned away do to lack of funds.
