Online Community Meditation and Discussion
Led by Jane M Chun
Wednesday Nights at 7-8PM EST

Come together (from wherever you are) and take some time to check in with yourself and breathe in the middle of the week. We’ll meditate together and explore approachable ways to settle our mind and tend to our heart, to create spaciousness for ourselves and those around us. This live, online video gathering is a wonderful and convenient way to connect with community, engage in discussion, and explore how we can carry our practice into daily life. Designed for students of all levels, Sit Anywhere Wednesdays are an opportunity for beginners to cultivate and experienced students to support and deepen their meditation practice.

If you'd like to be added to the Sit Anywhere email list for regular updates, please email jane@theidproject.org.

This is a drop-in event, and pre-registration is not necessary. Please use this link to access our Zoom videoconferencing platform.  You can participate on your computer using a web browser, or join us on your mobile device by downloading the Zoom application for Apple or Android/Google.

Jane Chun is a lifelong student of the art of moving through the world from the inside out – how we can cultivate our inner lives and ride the waves of life in connection to the wisdom and compassion inherent in our heart, mind, and body. Her training is grounded in multiple lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, inspired at first by the teachings of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche. She has worked as a humanitarian and development professional with NGOs and UN agencies in the US, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. Her academic and PhD work at Oxford University and other research institutes explored the intersection of the human mind and decision sciences, human vulnerability and resilience, human mobility, environmental change, and conflict and peacebuilding. She holds a masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and a masters in music from Indiana University. She is a graduate of IDP’s 2016 Meditation Teacher Training Program.
