What We Offer
The Interdependence Project (IDP) brings a secular and highly accessible approach to studying and practicing Buddhist meditation, psychology, and philosophy. We're committed to bridging the gap between personal development and collective engagement in our world, combining the principles of mindfulness and interdependence with activism, arts, and media.
You can get involved by checking out a live event or class. If you've never meditated before, check out our How to Meditate class.
Online, our popular IDP blog allows you to enter a lively, diverse, and up-to-the-minute conversation with other mindful people around the world. You can even post a blog yourself. Just visit the blog and click on "write a journal." As a diverse global community, we are interested in how principles of meditation and the truth of interdependence apply to daily life through such a wide variety of pursuits, such as media, ecology, film, arts, activism, food, dating, and just about everything else.
If you want something great for your MP3 player, you can check out our free podcast with select lectures as well as interviews with Buddhist teachers and meditators who apply their practice to their life and livelihood in new and exciting ways. For a more complete variety of audio courses, visit the shop for lots of audio downloads of recent courses.
We hope to see you soon at an upcoming event. If not, the website is full of interactive resources to establish a meditation practice, and apply that practice to your life in the world.
