Join renowned poet and practitioner Anne Waldman at The Interdependence Project for this writing and meditation workshop where we will confront these questions using techniques of working with dreams, memory exercises, cut up, collaboration, images, vocalization, tracking our own particular mind-grammar, and investigative poetics.

Friday - Sunday Feb. 3 - 5

Join us for a special weekend arts and meditation retreat. -- In the belief that acting training is also training in being a human being, we'll examine how meditation helps us connect with our creativity and cultivate the mental focus, physical freedom, emotional range, and spontaneity that make for vibrant acting and vibrant living. This retreat a potentially transformational investigation of the process of "acting" meditation as we move through the world.

Most people think of Dharma Art as “Buddhist” art, using symbols and deities to make paintings or sculptures. Dharma art, a complete path of spiritual discipline, does not have much to do with “Buddhism” at all, but actually about creating an enlightened world the way we would like live in it.

There is no better introduction to Buddhist teachings than Siddhartha -- the story of a young Indian prince who renounced the power and security of his father’s throne to search for an end to suffering in the world. Michael Owens performs a dynamic retelling of this classic story weaving traditional Buddhist legends with doctrinal concepts and historical information. Suitable for all ages and levels of practice.
