End of Year Giving Campaign

This year, IDP has continued with our acclaimed Meditation Teacher Training and Teaching Mindfulness to Children programs and developed two other new offerings:

  • Our mindfulness-based Professional Development program for training staff in NYC private, public and charter schools and educational spaces. Anticipated to be launched in Q1 of 2023.

  • Offering classes and workshops directly to our community. These classes have ranged from sound baths, loving kindness practice, writing workshops, four-week workshops of varying contemplative focus, Alumni meet-ups, book clubs, a week-long silent retreat and author talks/Q&As.

For our Meditation Teacher Training program in 2022, we were able to fully support ten of our cohort of 20 students while increasing teacher pay by 25%.

In the new year, our goal is to continue with our mission and to create more opportunities to build sangha more consistently.

We would love if you would consider contributing to our organization so that we might continue to offer:

  • Scholarships for minority groups, including BIPOC, LGBTQI and folks with disabilities

  • Free and by-donation community events for those in need of financial assistance

  • Teacher and leadership development
