Art CAVE or (Community Art Viewing Exchange), is a chance to share artworks -- physical pieces or short performed excerpts -- with other artists in the NY Community.
Drawing form from the practice of Satsang, where a teacher holds an interview with a student in front of a supporting and attentive community, Art CAVE will be an Open Interview with visiting teacher and artist Sokuzan Bob Brown. The voluntary, personal, face-to-face situation won’t necessarily be a critique of a piece of art but will be a line of questioning about the creator, the act of creating and intentions arising therein. Art CAVE is a container for intimacy and sincerity, sharing and receiving.
All are invited to attend regardless of experience level, please register or email patrick@theidproject.org to RSVP.
11am - 4pm Sunday May 6th, 2012.
Sliding Scale $15 - $45
(Note: Bob will be teaching the entire weekend at IDP on Art, Awareness and Meditation practices. To learn more, or sign-up for the full Weekend you can visit this page.)
