Eating with Awareness:
A Mindful Approach to Nourishment & Well-being
with Sam Moll

The juncture of eating, mindfulness and our relationship to food is the focus of this course. We will cultivate the skillful means to navigate our thoughts, feelings and emotions related to eating and the body.

Agenda:

Monthly on Wednesday evenings at 6pm - 6:45pm ET

  • Session 1,  January 17th, 2024 : 5 Senses + the 6th sense of our MIND!
     

  • Session 2,  February 21st, 2024 : Connecting to our food ~Nature, Elements, Farming
     

  • Session 3, March 13th, 2024Mindful vs Emotional Eating  ~ What is a Hunger Scale?
     

  • Session 4, April 17th, 2024 : Eating for Energy & Recognizing food as fuel
     

  • Session 5, May 15th, 2024 Cultivating Compassion & kindness How do we relate to food?
     

  • Session 6, June 12th, 2024 : Summary and Celebration ~ Putting it all together

Sam Moll (he/him)
MTT Graduate & Mindfulness Teacher

Sam's career in wellness started in the dirt as an organic vegetable and pig farmer. Through farming, Sam learned the connection between soil and human health, and the interdependence of caring for the planet and people. Sam continues to grow his connection with food and well-being as a Registered Dietitian. He completed the IDP Teacher Training in 2021 and continues to offer mindfulness in hospitals and K-12th grade schools.
